Warranty

Safety and peace-of-mind is always a concern after a structural repair of a carbon fiber bicycle. Knowing this and feeling comfortable with our work after many years of practice, we offer a completely transferable, limited-lifetime warranty against materials and workmanship on all structural repairs. We extend a 2 year limited warranty on paint and finish work as this is much more reliant on proper customer care and maintenance.

 

Terms of the Limited Warranty

 

This warranty relies on the user's ability to perform regular maintenance according to the instructions in their original owner’s manual and otherwise operate the bicycle under safe and normal conditions. FAILURE TO PERFORM REGULAR MAINTENANCE OR TO OPERATE UNDER SAFE AND NORMAL CONDITIONS MAY RESULT IN DENIAL OF WARRANTY COVERAGE.

This warranty does not cover damages or defects caused by negligence, improper use, assembly of parts or accessories other than the original, defective repair or maintenance work by the user or a third party, accident, crash or neglect.

In order for this Limited Warranty to apply in any case, the original retail purchaser must notify Hex Carbon Workshop within 30 days of the occurrence of any covered defect or damage to the bicycle.

Hex Carbon Workshop will be the sole determiner in all warranty evaluation cases. No other party is able to deem a failure to be warrantable.

The owner must pay all labor costs connected with the warranty evaluation and repair. Hex Carbon Workshop is only responsible for the subsequent repair and the return shipping of the repaired bicycle or component.

THIS IS A FULL AND COMPLETE STATEMENT OF THE HEX CARBON WORKSHOP LIMITED WARRANTY. NO ADDITIONAL WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARE PERMITTED TO BE OFFERED TO YOU, EXCEPT AS SET FORTH IN ARKANSAS CODE ANNOTATED §4-2-314 AND §4-2-315, AND THEN ONLY FOR THE TERM OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY REPRESENTATION, DEMONSTRATION OR STATEMENT WHICH MAY BE MADE BY ANYONE, THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER IS LIMITED TO THE REMEDIES PROVIDED IN THIS DOCUMENT. IT IS EXPRESSLY AGREED THAT HEX CARBON WORKSHOP’S LIABILITY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE NO GREATER THAN THE AMOUNT OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE AND IN NO EVENT SHALL HEX CARBON WORKSHOP BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, SPECIFICALLY, ANY DAMAGES FOR PHYSICAL INJURY RELATING TO THE USE OF THE PRODUCT.
